DESCRIPTION OF TRAINING: Navigating ethics for various licensed professionals can be challenging. As human service professionals we often work with complex situations attached to real people. Ethical dilemmas can be common in practice due to unforeseen or overlooked factors, which we’ve learned are more complex than the textbook examples discussed in school. Participants will learn through discussion and materials presented, sharing lived experiences and by processing disciplinary action against licenses.
CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS: 3.0 Continuing Education Credits in ETHICS will be awarded to Missouri Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors and Missouri Addiction Counselors at the completion of the lecture. A Certificate of Attendance verifying 3.0 clock hours of Ethics training will be awarded to other disciplines to submit to their respective licensing boards.
