Dr. Sarmista Bhalla has been appointed Medical Director of Geriatric Services at CenterPointe Hospital of Columbia where she will oversee our Silver Lining Program for senior adults.
Dr. Bhalla comes to CenterPointe with 23 years of experience as a psychiatrist and researcher in a wide range of medical settings. In her private practice, Refound Psychiatric Services Group, Dr. Bhalla specializes in working with senior adults in hospitals and nursing homes.
Syed Khalid Imam, M.D.
Medical Director of Adolescent Services
Dr. Syed Khalid Imam has been appointed Medical Director of Adolescent Services at CenterPointe Hospital of Columbia where he will oversee our Stepping Stones Program for children and adolescents.
Dr. Imam comes to CenterPointe with 29 years of experience as a psychiatrist working with a wide range of populations in both inpatient hospital and outpatient settings, with a specialty in working with children & adolescents.
